A gathering of sewists has been a goal of mine for a long time therefore this Fall I have put together a small intimate sewing retreat. Sewing can be very solitary so this gives us the opportunity to work together and share ideas. The goal is to build a creative needle arts community with a medium that is not always portable. Each participant will work on individual projects and at their own pace. Everyone will have the opportunity to see how others work, what they are working on and share skills. This event is based on learning from each other therefore there will be no instructors and does not have a planned agenda, except for meals.
The dates are October 27-29, 2019 and the location is Casari Ranch, in Bodega, CA. The guest house is 3 bedrooms, 2 baths a total of 6 people. There will be shared accommodations, 2 in a room and 3 to a bathroom. The guest house is on a working ranch with an organic farm and livestock. It is basically off the grid, there is Wifi but it is very limited, I would not plan on it. This link has more information on the guest house .
